Busing Service

BISI offers a safe and reliable bus service through AZ-AL.

AZ-AL is one of the three top bus companies in Istanbul servicing over 20 different schools in as many years. They have a brand new fleet of buses, their own drivers and English speaking Hostesses. The buses are fitted with a GPS system that also monitors speed and all buses now have security cameras in place.

AZ-AL conducts frequent surveys with parents and schools alike, to ensure that all procedures are in order. With this they also undertake to have a representative based in both the City and Zekeriyakoy Campuses, on a permanent basis.

Message from Carys Thomas - Left the school June 2015

Dear Mr Bradley,

I just wanted to send you an email to thank you so much for sending my Sociology certificate and the plaque to Chicago! I received them in an awards ceremony last week and I couldn’t believe it when one of the teachers at my school started talking about the British International School of Istanbul. l was very proud and grateful to receive the award and especially shocked to hear it had come such a long way.

I’d also like to just say thank you for all the work you and all the teachers at BISI put into my education. My time at BISI was amazing and set me up brilliantly for the IB programme. My teachers in Chicago have been particularly impressed with the preparation that I have had.

I hope that the troubles in Istanbul aren’t affecting you and the school too much and that the school continues to be successful.

Thank you again,
Carys Thomas

Message from Karine Aebi - Graduated from BISI in May 2012.

Hey,

I am in England, Stoke-on-Trent (in the midlands), I am studying BSc Hons Sports Therapy at Staffordshire University. The course is great and I have learned so much in the space of 1 week. I have been at university for 3 weeks now, the first week was international induction week, the second week was programme related induction week aka freshers week, and the 3rd week the start of the academic year.

I am now playing for two football teams, I play for the university and an other one called YMCA North Staffs Ladies. It is a dream come true. I train twice a week on Monday for two hours and on Thursday for 1 hour, match days are on Wednesday afternoon and Sunday. The sports facilities are amazing, I have found my happiness and heaven.

The weather is not so great, very cold, a lot of rain and the few odds moments of sunshine.

Warm regards,

Karine
