Week in, Week out
A Pre & Primary School publication

What an eventful week it has been for our students!

This week our Year One students from Zek and Etiler Campus went to Rahmi Koç Transportation Museum.  Our students had lots of fun as they got to see (and even get on) some amazing vehicles.

This week, students and parents of Etiler Campus volunteered to colour up the EYFS wall. The results were simply amazing! Scroll down to see the wonderful photos of how the walls turned out.

While scrolling down, you will undoubtedly see the incredible photos from the glass factory trip. We can't imagine how interesting it must have been for our year 4 students.

We also have news from this week's football tournament and a thank you note to all of our teachers for Teachers Day.

Enjoy your read!

Painting the EYFS Wall at City Campus
On Wednesday and Thursday students and parents volunteered help Student Council to cheer up the EYFS garden walls. We thank everyone who helped paint the wonderful art on the walls. It looks beautiful!

Year 4 Trip to Glass Factory
Year 4 from the City Campus are studying states of matter so they went to the Glass Furnace to watch demonstrations on how glass can change from a liquid to a solid and from a solid to a liquid. The class was also able to participate in a fusion workshop to create a plate using coloured glass pieces.

Football Tournament

This week, our Boys Football Team  got 2nd place after one of the best football finals in primary we have seen in a long time. Score was 2:2 but over the tournament MEF 1 scored 1 more goal.
Our 3 Girls teams got 1st, 2nd and 4th place and  our 1st team dominated the tournament,  winning 7:1 vs  MEF and not conceiving another goal.

Teachers Day

On Friday, our teachers gathered to celebrate teachers day. We would like to thank all our teachers, not just today but every day for their continuous effort and support as they help students grow up to become responsible, caring and successful citizens of the world.
School Production - War of the Worlds
After months of hard work by the students involved in the school production, the show is almost ready for performance. This years piece, War of the Worlds, is firmly fixed within the sci-fi genre and is not only an adaptation of the Wells classic, but also an homage to many of the iconic sci-fi films of the last 50 years

The show, featuring original, live rock music, will play in Zekeriyakoy Campus's theatre on Tuesday 3rd, Wednesday 4th, and Thursday 5th of December. Tickets can be purchased prior to the evenings from Mr Cosnett or Mr Bradley and cost 40TL for adults and 20TL for students. Tickets can also be purchased on the event evenings (outside the theatre - from 6.20pm) on a first come, first served basis. Tickets will be available from 23rd November.
The show is a collaboration between Primary and Secondary students and boasts a cast and crew of about 80 students.

Please note, the show is unsuitable for children under the age of 8 and contains some strobe lighting.
And that brings us to the end of another week!

Wishing you all a lovely weekend!
