Week in, Week out
A Pre/Primary School publication

Dear readers,

As we head in to the end of week 2 of our remote teaching and learning, we would like to take the opportunity to thank you all for your understanding and support during this time and for adapting to your new learning environments so quickly and professionally. We understand this has not been easy for anyone, but we're very proud of our staff and students for showing such diligence. We hope this situation won't be in place for too long, but until school re-opens, we will continue to provide an education to all of our students.

We feel it's important to maintain our working practices as much as possible and sharing our newsletter is something which always highlights the great work of our students and staff. This week we share with you events which took place in late February and early March, as well as a selection of the remote learning which started last week. We know you are all working hard, attending lessons and being creative with your teaching and learning practices, which isn't easy under these circumstances, but keep up the great work, you're all doing an amazing job!

Maintaining a sense of community has never been so important so let's look after eachother, be kind, remain calm, and maintain a positive outlook.

Wishing you all good health.
WEEK IN
Cobis Art Competition

Mrs Cosnett: Year 6 Teacher & Head of Creative Arts

This year, the theme for the COBIS Art Competition was Today's Actions Shape Tomorrow's World. We first held our own BISI competition in order to determine who would get through to the COBIS competition. We had loads of fantastic entries from some very talented children. We were very impressed by the creativity of some of the children in how they interpreted the brief.

We are extremely pleased to announce the winners of our BISI art competition:

EYFS - Elias Becoulet  Reception
KS1 -  Lily Saltanat Y2
KS2 - Jhea Lee Y4,  Eda Önel Y4, Zartasha Khan Y6, Jihoon Lim Y6
Group Entry - Sofia Perez & Selvi Özen Y4
National School EYFS Communication Project

One of the Turkish topics in our National School EYFS group is communication and communication tools. Our EYFS students designed and made their very own computers. Ms Çiçek shares a full gallery with us of their hard work and results!

Very impressive work...well done EYFS!!!!!
World Health Organisation Tips and Advice for Coping with Stress

We appreciate these are unsettling times for everyone and it can be especially difficult for children to understand the current situation. The World Health Organisation has put together some tips on how to help children cope with stress during this challenging time.
Remote Teaching & Learning

We've been very impressed with how our teachers, students and parents have adapted to remote learning. Here's a selection of pictures of some of our students from City & Zek International and National School.

Keep up the amazing work everyone, you're doing a fabulous job!!!!
Deep Cleaning Continues...

Deep cleaning continues at both of our campuses and today specialist cleaning was completed at City Campus. The building was sprayed with disinfectant, which will also be completed at Zek Campus over the weekend and Monday. We will continue to work hard to ensure clean and safe working environments for all our staff and students.
Please keep checking your emails for school updates. We'll be keeping you up to date with all important developments as the days and weeks progress. Thank you again for your hard work, patience and understanding during this difficult time.

Wishing you all a peaceful weekend.

Stay safe and follow the guidelines!
