WELCOME TO BIS PRE/PRIMARY SCHOOL

It is enshrined in our Guiding Statements that we will provide a caring environment fostering cultural diversity; with 40 different nationalities of students we live our Guiding Statements on a daily basis. We are a family school, welcoming and friendly and we consider our students, our faculty, our support staff and our parents to be all part of one BISI Community. Our aim is to ensure that every child achieves their full academic potential, being inspired along the way to become lifelong learners and responsible citizens in the global community of the 21st century.

The students will be taught a unique combined English and Turkish curriculum. We are very experienced in teaching students who have little or no English. We run a full English as a Second Language (ESL) programme for students who need it with the aim of getting them to access the curriculum as soon as possible.

BISI enjoys a particularly strong relationship with our Parent-Teacher Association and we work together to constantly improve things for our students in many areas; arranging special fun and cultural events like International Day, Halloween, and the annual charity spectacular Fun Day and running weekly Sunday Sports throughout the school year. The PTA work tirelessly to make the school a better place for everyone.

From your first visit to the school, our aim is to make you feel welcome and part of our community, come and talk to us and find out what we can do for your children. Come and join the BISI community.
